Description

#

An internally generated number. The icon next to the number indicates that an error occurred when loading the component. If you place the cursor over the icon, an error message will appear.

If you zoom (F5) from the Name column:

  • If a component was not selected, the . NET Assembly Selection dialog box opens.

  • If a component was already loaded, its property sheet opens.

For WCF components: The WCF name.

  • If a component was not selected, the Endpoint URL box opens. In this box, enter the service endpoint URL that the Web services step calls. For example, http://localhost/AsymEncryptPolicyService/AsymEncryptService.asmx

For .NET components: Full Assembly name.

Type

You can select one of the following types:

  • Magic xpa component

  • .NET assembly

  • WCF Web service consumer Since version: 3.1

You can only access this field when no component/assembly was selected.

Folder

Specifies the folder in which the component entry is located.

.NET Aliases button

Click this button to open the .NET Alias dialog box. This button is enabled when the CRR contains at least one reference to a .NET assembly.

Note:

You access the component properties by pressing Alt+Enter on a component.

Assemblies defined in a Magic xpa component will not be available in the host project. This means that if the component exposes a model or a program parameter of a .NET type, you have to add a reference to this assembly as well.
