Using a Synchronous Raise Event Operation (Magic xpa 3.x)

A User event set with Force Exit as Editing, Control, Pre Record Update, or Post Record Update cannot be handled synchronously. This is because the runtime engine cannot perform the required sequence of exiting the requested levels within a running set of operations.

A synchronous Raise Event operation of an event set with Force Exit other than None ignores the event’s Force Exit property and treats it as if it were set to None.
