Trigger Components (Magic xpi 4.13)

When you include components from the Triggers section of the Toolbox pane, these components serve to activate the flow when the Trigger component receives the appropriate information.

To set up Trigger components in your integration flows:

  1. In the main pane, either create a new flow or open an existing flow that does not have a Trigger component.

  2. From the Toolbox pane's Trigger section, drag the required Trigger component to the main pane's Trigger area.

  3. In the Properties pane, and in any relevant dialog boxes that are accessed from the Properties pane, enter the required properties.

You will now be able to invoke the flow using your newly created Trigger component.

Invoke Flow messages (created by Triggers, parallel steps, or stand alone steps) are generally handled on a first in first out basis. However, the exact processing order of the messages is not guaranteed. Therefore, you should not base your flow logic on this assumption. If you want full control over the order, use a step instead.

You can use the following components as Triggers:

You can include more than ten Triggers to configure in the Trigger area of a flow.
