Specifying the Java Class or EJB Type (Magic xpa 3.x)

From the Java Class and EJB screen, you can determine the type of Java component, Java Class or (Enterprise JavaBeans) EJB, that will be generated.

If you select the EJB, the following fields are enabled:

  • EJB Name - Specify the EJB name as it is displayed in the Java Name Directory Interface (JNDI).

  • JNDI Property String - Specify the JNDI property string when needed, such as java.naming.factory.initial=com.sun.jndi.cosnaming.CNCtxFactory,java.
The comma is used as a separator.

When the EJB type is selected, the EJBExplore function is automatically called to retrieve the EJB definition.

Click Next and the Select or Specify Class screen appears.
