Specifying a Print Style for a Section of Output Text (Magic xpa 3.x)

To specify a print style for a section of output text:

  1. From the program's entry in the Program repository, zoom into the program and click the Form tab.

  2. In the Form Editor, select any line of the Text-based report whose output form is to be printed.

  3. Zoom to the Form Designer.

  4. Select the text for which you want to specify a print style.

  5. Go to the property sheet and zoom from the Print Attribute property to the Print Attributes list.

  6. Choose a print style from the Print Attributes list.

  7. The text you have selected will appear on the form in the color that corresponds to the print style you have designated.

  8. From the Task menu, select I/O devices and be certain that Printer is the Media column entry and that the Printer column specifies the name of a printer of the type whose control codes appear in the Print Command file you have designated. For example, if you have specified a Print Command file for a certain type of laser printer, then the Printer column entry should be a printer of that type.
