Service Provisioning (Magic xpa 3.x)

In addition to a variety of client-based applications, Magic xpa also supports non-interactive applications or any third-party applications by providing data manipulation and business processes execution in a form of services.

SOA Enabled

In any form of deployment, Magic xpa enables the provisioning and consumption of services to either facilitate or adhere to any Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) of the enterprise.

SOA-based applications can be achieved by various means that are inherently supported by Magic xpa, such as:

  • Web Services

  • Simple Web Access

  • Messaging

Magic xpa offers a user-friendly wizard that enables smooth integration of service-providing facilities for the creation of composite applications.

Web Service Support

Any non-interactive Magic xpa task can be transformed into a Web Service method by including it in a Web Service interface definition (WSDL).

In this way, any Magic xpa task can be invoked from any third-party application in the form of a Web service.

In addition, a Magic xpa application can be designed to consume Web Services through which centralized information can be retrieved and centralized activities can be triggered.

Magic xpa also provides WCF consumption capabilities, including the loading and executing of WCF Web services.

Messaging Connectivity

In distributed applications, two different applications often need to communicate with one another to transfer information. One of the ways to accomplish this is message queuing, which ensures guaranteed delivery.

Magic xpa provides a message queuing component with interfaces to three standard messaging queue systems: Microsoft® MSMQ, JMS, and IBM WebSphere.
