Description

Rich Client Parallel Execution (Magic xpa 3.x)

Several Rich Client programs can run simultaneously by using the Parallel Execution task property. For example, one program for employee management, and another for finance, all from a single entry point, without having to repeat authentication for each parallel program.

A parallel Rich Client program can be activated only from another Rich Client program; when activated from F7 in Online mode / request to the Runtime engine, the program is activated as non-parallel.

When executing a parallel Rich Client program by a request (command line, remote call, etc.), the program will execute as non-parallel.

Closing the caller program will not close called parallel programs, just like with Online programs.

The Returned Context ID is not available.

Exceptions: It is not possible to send BLOB variables to a parallel Rich Client program.
