Report Output with Line Feed and Carriage Return (Magic xpa 3.x)

By default, the Magic xpa configuration generates the output report with a line feed only. In Magic xpa versions for UNIX, if you want to add a carriage return along with the line feed:

  1. Logon to UNIX system with the Magic xpa user.

    cd etc

    OR

    cd $MAGIC_HOME/etc

  2. You will see a file named prn_unx.eng, which contains a single line:

    0xD = 0xA

    Replace this line with:

    0xA = 0xD,0xA

  3. Ensure that you are using this file. The following line in the Magic.ini file shows the location of the prn_unx.eng file:

    [MAGIC_PRINTERS]

    Printer1 = lp @ 1>/dev/null 2>/dev/null,,%MagicDir%/etc/prn_unx.eng,60
