Description

RM Compatibility and Tabbing Order

When you define an Online task to RM Compatibility, the tabbing order is defined by the order of the variables in the Data View Editor.

In the Form Editor, the Automatic Tab Order form property is disabled. Deleting the RM Compatible logic unit enables the Automatic Tab Order.

The Tab Into property and Tab Order property of all controls in a GUI Display form are disabled.

When an Online task has an RM Compatible logic unit, the subform is the last control of the tabbing order. When there are several subforms, their tabbing order is sequential according to their X, Y and Z-Order starting from the tab order that follows the last tab order of the data bound controls.

The Subform control is not parkable when the RM Compatible logic unit is available in the task.

Deleting the RM Compatible Logic Unit

When deleting the RM Compatible logic unit in an Online task, the Z-Order of the parkable controls on the form is checked to see if its equivalent to the order of the variables in the Data View Editor.

  • If the Z-Order is the same as the order of the variables, then the form is defined with ‘Automatic Tab Order’.

  • If the Z-Order is different than the order of the variables, then the form is defined without ‘Automatic Tab Order’ and the controls’ Tab order is set according to the order of the variables.
