Project Access (Magic xpa 3.x)

The quick navigation between projects is critical for applications that are constructed on a large project hierarchy. You can access a project by:

  • Clicking a project reference displayed in the Navigator Reference Tree. A project is displayed as a reference only when you have specified that a reference be created by either selecting the Add as module in current project check box in the New Project dialog box or by clicking the Add Module command from the File menu. For more information, see Project Modules.

  • Clicking a project reference displayed under Recent Projects in the File menu. You can determine the number of recent projects displayed by specifying a numeric value in the Number of Recent Projects environment setting. You can display up to 99 project references.
Note: While you are scrolling through the recent projects, the directory location of the project appears on the status
bar. This is useful if you have separate projects with the same or similar names.

  • Selecting a [project].edp file from the Open Project dialog box. The Open Project dialog box displays the current Magic xpa Project (edp) file.

  • Clicking the Magic xpa Project (edp) file from where it is stored, outside of Magic xpa.
