Description

Preferred Events (Magic xpa 3.x)

The information shown in the Preferred Event repository contains information from all the projects, and it is defined per user.

The information is stored in an XML file called PreferredEvents.xml.

The Task, Record, Variable, Control, and Group logic unit types have all of the event types that are allowed in a logic handler.

The Event unit type only has the System, Internal, and User values shown in the Event Type combo box.

The events defined in the Preferred Event repository will be shown on the Logic context menu entry.

User Event

The User event can be selected from the list of User events defined in the Main Program of the project, and it can also be written manually.

The name of the user event is saved in the file, so if that name is changed at the Main Program, it will not change here.

In addition, an event selected in one project can be used for another project (if they have the same name).

Default values

Upon opening a project, if the preferred event file does not exist, it will be added to the project and will contain the following events:
