Partitioning with the IBM i Magic xpa Server (Magic xpa 3.x)

The IBM i Magic xpa Server can issue a partitioning request from another Magic xpa engine and can process partitioning requests from other Magic xpa clients or servers, or from High Level Language (HLL) programs, such as RPG, COBOL, or JAVA.

Partitioning requests are issued using the Call Remote operation, passing the application name and program’s public name as parameters. Optionally, parameters can be passed, and a result file can be specified.
