Operation Commands (Magic xpa 3.x)

The syntax for pre-operation and post operation commands are:

operation, main information, number, switches

The pre-operations and post operations are:

  • Export – An internal export of an application, or pieces of an application. This is useful if you want to back up all projects at midnight, for example.

  • Import - Imports an application, or pieces of an application.

  • ECF - Creates a cabinet file from an application. This is useful if you want to create a cabinet file of all applications in one batch process.

  • Project - Opens a project.

  • Getdef - Imports the definition of an SQL table.

  • OS – An operating system command.

  • Simulate - Simulating keyboard strokes (for example, parking on a repository object).

  • ObjectList - Instructs the engine to dump the list of objects of a specified repository to a specified text file.

  • ECI - Informs the engine to load a provided component interface file.

  • AddModule - Informs the engine to load the project as a reference in the current project.
