Modules - Navigating Between Projects (Magic xpa 3.x)

Magic xpa provides you with an easy-to-use navigator for moving between projects.

You can click Modules in the Navigator’s combo box to display the project's Modules tree. When you move to a different project, the previous project closes, and the project module view changes to display the selected project module.

The current project name is displayed in square brackets.

The Modules tree displays the following icons:

Indicates that the module is the current (opened) project.

Indicates that the project is closed.

Expands a node

Collapses a node

Navigating between the nodes will not automatically switch to the parked-on project.

To switch to a different project, you need to double-click on a different project. Then, the previous project closes, the selected project opens, and the module view changes to display the selected project's modules.

You can click the + sign to expand a node, or the - sign to collapse a node.

Rename or Delete Modules

You can rename or delete a module node if the project is a direct module of the current project. To edit or delete a module, park on a module node, right-click, and select Edit Node or Delete Node.

Renaming the module node does not influence the project directory name or the project file name.

Deleting a node from the tree does not delete the project directory or files.
