Magic xpa Server API Interface Environment (Magic xpa 3.x)

The Magic xpa Server API Interface Environment is an external application that lets you run a Magic xpa program deployed on any machine using Native IBM i RPG, COBOL, or CL programming languages for IBM i (5250 interactive or batch programs), pSeries (RS/6000), Windows workstations or servers, and other UNIX or Linux servers.

The Magic xpa API Interface Environment is not part of the IBM i for Magic xpa package. This product is available from the FTP Magic Download site.

It is recommended to use the Original Product Module (OPM) interface, which lets native COBOL, RPG, CL, or other IBM i programming languages call a Magic xpa program to pass parameters back and forth. The OPM interface works primarily with application logic and not with low-level interface implementation.
