Description

Magic xpa - Internet Verification (Magic xpa 3.x)

To run the VerifyInstall application, you must obtain a Magic xpa enterprise server license, Mgent2, and enter the license into IBM i. You do this by following the steps listed below:

  1. Open the Magic Config. Server menu, using the following commands:

    • CHGCURLIB <server library>

    • CFGMGCSVR

  1. Update the license name to MGENT2 in the Magic400.ini file.

  2. From the Internet/Partition menu, select Start Magic Broker and Start Magic Server options.

  3. From the Internet Browser, Internet Explorer V5.5 or later, call the following URL:
    http://<server name>/<cgi bin alias>/?appname=Verify­Install&prgname=verify

  4. The Magic Installation Verification screen appears.
