Test Messaging – WebSphere MQ (Magic xpa 3.x)

The Test Messaging option, available on the Tools menu when running the messaging component, lets you test your connectivity to WebSphere MQ.

To test your messaging system using the Test Messaging System dialog box, follow the steps outlined below.

  1. Select WebSphere MQ Connectivity as the Messaging System.

  2. Specify a Queue Manager.

  3. Specify a Queue Name.

  4. Enter a message in the Message box and click Send Message.

  5. Click Read Message to have a message returned to the Message box.
