Description

JD Edwards Enterprise One - XML (Magic xpi 3.x)

Select the XML interface and click Configuration to open the JD Edwards Enterprise One Configuration dialog box. This dialog box lets you select the required JD Edwards Enterprise One resource, choose the variable holding the call result, and refresh the XSD of the selected Business Function (BSFN) if a change was made to the BSFN structure.

This dialog box contains the following properties:

Connection

Resource Name

The name of the resource, previously defined in the Resource Repository, that you selected in the Component Properties dialog box's Settings tab.

Keep session open

The connection is terminated if this check box is unchecked.

Operation

Module Name

Business Function

This section allows the user to choose the required BSFN.

Click to open the JD Edwards Enterprise One Contexts dialog box. When you select the required BSFN, the Module Name and Business Function fields will contain the relevant values.

Click to open the BSFN List. The BSFN List lets you search for a specific BSFN according to its name or description. When you select the required BSFN, the Module Name and Business Function fields will contain the relevant values. (Since version: V3.2 SP3)

You can also enter the values manually.

Result

Store result in

Defines where you want to store the resulting XML file. Select one of the following from the drop-down list:

  • File: Select a file to hold the object data that is returned by JD Edwards Enterprise One.
    Click to open the Expression Editor or click and enter the file path where this information is to be stored.

  • Variable: Select a variable to hold the object data that is returned by JD Edwards Enterprise One.
    Click to open the Variables List. Select a variable where this information is to be stored. The default is C.UserBlob.

The JD Edwards Enterprise One Configuration dialog box contains the following additional button:

Refresh XSD

Refreshes the current schema.

When you click Refresh XSD, the current schema is overwritten. A message dialog opens, and clicking OK confirms the update and the overwrite. Clicking Cancel exits the process without updating the schema.
