Description

Ignore (Magic xpa 4.x)

Ignore causes Magic xpa to skip the error and to continue to the next record as explained below.

Physical:

  • Batch – Continues to the next record.

  • Online, Rich Client, and Browser Client – Continues to the next record according to the operation that is performed. If the next record cannot be parked on, because it is locked, Magic xpa will park on the previous record.

Deferred: If the error occurs during a non-flush phase, Magic xpa behaves as if it is a physical transaction. If the error occurs in the flush phase, Magic xpa skips the current command, and continues to the next one.

The Ignore option for the Physical mode skips the record cycle – Record Prefix and Record Suffix.
The Ignore option for the Deferred mode only skips the relevant command and not the entire record cycle because the commands in the Deferred mode are not executed in correlation to the record cycle.
