How Do I Use Word Wrapping in the Column Header? (Magic xpa 3.x)

Sometimes the name of a column might be longer than the actual column width. In that case, it is useful to have the name wrap onto two lines. It is also good to have that wrapping be interactive, so that if the user changes the size of the column or the table is displayed in a smaller form, it will wrap only when needed.

This can be done easily in Magic xpa.

  1. In the Table Properties, set the Title height to be wide enough to hold two or more lines of text.

  2. In the Column Properties for each column, set the Vertical Alignment to Top.

  3. Make sure that each column name has a space where the name can wrap.
