How Do I Show a Table Control with Alternating Colors? (Magic xpa 3.x)

Sometimes, on a large Table control, it is hard for the eye to follow the rows. One solution to this is to use alternating row colors.

Using alternating colors on a table

1. Select the Table control by clicking on it.

2. In the Control Properties:

   • Set the Set Table Color property to Table.

   • Select an alternating background color. You can type in the number, or zoom to select it from the color list.

Now the table will show in alternating colors. The base color will be the Color property (‘1’, in this example), and the alternating color will be the Alternating BG Color (‘5’, in this example).
