Get Definition of a Datetime Field (Magic xpa 3.x)

During the Get Definition operation, when the first Datetime field is found, Magic xpa displays a pop-up window with the following question, “Translate SQL Datetime columns to Magic xpa data and time field pair?”

When you select Yes, the following behavior occurs:

• When Magic xpa gets the definition of a table that includes a Datetime field, the engine automatically creates two fields, Date and Time. The Part of Datetime property is set accordingly.

• The Get Definition operation retrieves the time value with a constraint of 00-23:59.

• The Magic xpa name of the time part of this field is the actual field name, concatenated with _time.
