Enumeration Code List Utility

You can access the Enumeration Code List utility from the Tools menu to provide your own descriptions of the messages and save them in the Messaging.dat file. The codes are derived from MSMQ’s MsgClass property.

The Error Code Messages window includes these four buttons:

• Save – Click to save your changes.

• Export – Click to export the error messages into a text file that you can edit externally. You are prompted to enter a name for the export file.

• Import – Click to import a text file containing error messages. When you import the text file, the error messages are matched by error code and therefore you should not make changes to the code numbers.

• Close – Click to close the window.

The Import/Export option is useful if you replace the Magic xpa error messages with your own. You can export an error message list so that your errors are not overwritten when you upgrade.
