Data View Synchronization (Magic xpa 2.x)

The content of this logic unit is synchronized with the Data View Editor. For every variable in the Data View Editor, a reference line is displayed in the RM Compatible logic unit. Each reference is displayed in a gray color and an italic font. The details of the reference line includes:

• Type – Virtual, Parameter, Column, Linked Column

• Variable Code

• Name – [Source Table], [Column Table]

• Attribute – For example: Alpha, Numeric, Date, BLOB

• Picture – Visual display of the attribute. For example: ###### or XXXXXX

Delete

The reference lines cannot be deleted and cannot be manually created. When deleting multi-marked lines, including reference lines, the Delete operation deletes the logic detail lines but not the reference lines.

Move

Reference lines cannot be moved. When moving a range of lines that include reference lines, this operation will only move the logic detail lines.

Repeat

Reference lines cannot be repeated. When repeating a range of lines that include reference lines, only the logic detail lines are repeated.

Overwrite

Reference lines cannot be overwritten by another line. When parked on the reference line, the Overwrite command is disabled.

Cut and Paste

A reference line cannot be cut and pasted within the same logic unit. Pasting a range of lines that include reference lines into another logic unit only copies the logic detail lines of the selected reference header.
