DDF Maker (Magic xpa 3.x)
The DDF Maker utility is a wizard that creates Data Dictionary Files (DDFs) from the table definitions in your Magic xpa project's Data repository.
Steven G. Blank, a member of the Magic community, contributed the DDF Maker wizard.
The wizard:

Filters the Data repository and displays only Btrieve-based database tables.

Allows you to select the table definitions that you want to include in your new DDFs.

Allows you to select the location for your new DDFs.

Ensures that table, column and index names are unique within the scope required by Pervasive.SQL.

Optionally modifies table, column and index names to conform to Pervasive.SQL rules for "regular" identifiers.
You need to be familiar with how your external tool uses DDFs, and what data types it will support. For instance, some tools will only accept date fields that are in certain formats.

The Magic xpa Single User Edition does not include the DDF Maker.
