Configuration File Flags (Magic xpi 4.1)

The various flags in the Magic xpi configuration files (.ini) let you make changes to the behavior of your project.

Information about the flags can be found in the following topics:

You can make changes to the behavior of the project directly on the Magic xpi Server. Because the Magic xpi Server does not have a user interface, you need to edit the ifs.ini file. You can also edit selected ifs.ini flags using the IFS Settings interface. At deployment, the Magic.ini flags are loaded into the Server. After that, the flags contained in the additional deployment settings file are loaded (ifs.ini). The last settings loaded are the ones which take effect.

The ifs.ini file is located in the Magic xpi root directory or folder on each Magic xpi Server. It is a text file. You can edit the text file the same way that you edit any other file.

Note:

You should only edit the flags described in this topic. If you edit any other part of the ifs.ini file, your Magic xpi project may not behave in the way that you expect.
