COM Object Support (Magic xpa 3.x)

You can handle any registered COM object in your Magic xpa project as a general OLE object to be handled by OLE automation.

Any COM object is handled through a variable that is defined by its attribute and other properties to be an OLE object.

Any activity related to the COM object will be done in relation to the variable defined for the object.

OLE objects cannot be placed on the form and their runtime manipulation can be done only through OLE automation commands.

To define an OLE object, the COM object field must be set with a specific object definition. The Object name property is essential and mandatory for the complete definition of the COM object.

Note:

OLE variables are not supported in Rich Client tasks.
